Cisco Client & Profile-Files

#1 Post by peter10000 »

Hi,

I´m trying the actual distribution of pcPuppy with a harddisk-install.
Now I try to get the Cisco-Client working - thats why I did choose pcPuppy.
I didnt´t find a way to get the profile-file shown in the GUI.

What did I do:
I did copy the profile-file xxx.pcf from my windows-client to the path /opt/cisco/vpn/profile/xxx.pcf

There are no changes on the software-installation. So pcPuppy is absolutely fresh installed!

There is another thing I don´t understand:
Normaly the path to the profile-files for cisco-client is .../profiles not .../profile

Could anybody help? I need the client for my job and it´s very very importnat to get it running on this special pc!

Best regards!

Unfortunately, all I did was install the package to pcPuppyOS. I don't actually know anything about using it. So, I emailed Freidsonjm and pointed him here. Hopefully he can get you straightened out.
