Ok, I have not tried this, but per vg1's suggestion, I have made xdelta patches for both pupflux and for pupfluxlite and am going to try and attach them (hopefully it works).
Essentially, applying a patch will save you on download time if you already have the base iso file downloaded.
The base file for PupFlux is Puppy 4.1.2. If you already have pup412 downloaded, you could apply the patch/xdelta for pupflux and it would then create PupFlux for you.
The base file for PupFluxLite is Puppy 4.0. If you already have pup4 downloaded, you could apply the patch/xdelta for pupfluxlite and it would then create PupFluxLite for you.
Great, thorough, brief instructions for xdelta are found
here. If that download location doesn't work for xdelta.pet and you want to download it, look at my previous post for an alternative link.
Ok, now let's see if we can attach these.
Yeah, couldn't get it to add them, even though I zipped 'em up. Each is about 8mb. Ideas?
*Edit: ok, if we can figure out how to post 'em, I've got the xdelta's for both of these. Until then, enjoy pupflux and pupfluxlite iso's...
