Does anyone know of a good screen shot utility. Ideally I would like something that runs in the background and takes a shot at my prompting (mouse click or space bar, etc)
Then when I want to will let me quickly index through the collection of screenshots i have taken.
I know puppy comes with mtpaintscreenshot but this app takes over the whole real estate every time a shot is made and does not have any key bindings.

Print Screen Key
The pet below will enable you to use the print screen key to capture the screen to a jpg file in /my-documents.
It only works JWM at the moment...Tested in 4.1.2 and 4.2

There is a very simple solution if you are using JWM, which I wrote about when I described my button-bars (command bars) last year (possibly) or even the year before.

If you are using IceWm, talk to WhoDo on these forums. He made one for Ice-WM on v2.15ce.While nothing whatsoever to do with button bars, I thought I'd mention this customisation tip as well. I've discovered it isn't difficult to enable the Print/Screen button (like WhoDo did in 2.15ce) to initiate taking a screen capture - which is also used in several other operating systems, including Windows, but surprisingly in few Linuxes.
All it needs is a single line of code in the /root/.jwmrc file, near the bottom, in the key redefinition section...

The keypress capture technique doesn't seem to work in Ver 1.09 though. It locks the keyboard inoperable if you try it.
