Looks a bit like my collection...fun :)

I didn't see wine in there...since you include opengl stuff the extra ~12MB certainly opens the field to lots of 2D and 3D windows games...indeed the 3D stuff works faster under wine sometimes :)

regards and thanks from all those who like to waste time enjoying themselves

Indeed it does.. I haven't included wine as it can be easily added and removed using the SFS files available.. I think if anyone can use wine, they can install the SFS for themselves.. If they want :)

I'll link this thread, too

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=344820

as there is a different discussion on each thread atm

Feel's comments are worth noting IMHO :D
This puplet is already a milestone because there are not other LiveCd distros that work this well with emulators
Dingo's, about Amiga Emulator (E-UAE) , too

good luck

Aitch :)

Puppy Arcade v4 now available..

This is based on TurboPup Extreme Beta 1, so it's even faster when playing games as there is less going on in the background, meaning your RAM and CPU are free to serve up smooth, retro gaming!

Puppy Argade Bug

#7 Post by Frank Cox »

I downloaded the arcade a week ago and loaded it tonight.
It seem to work fine but if just stopped running after I had downloaded some roms.

No matter what I did it would not let me reinstall the os . I chunked the disk and so far have had the download sites hang about halfway through, maybe because it is Saturday?
