Downloads and runs like a dream on everything tried so far. Once MU produces an Opera .pet, this would seem to be the version of choice!

Using Pnethood 0.65 to share from mynet I get the following:
NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
This happens from 4.25. Some mising dependencies?

Tried in every version
Tx Lobster for lightning reply.
Tried on every version not only in 4.3 small; it seems missing contact with my home network from 4.25 to 4.3 betas.
Same error is reported for HP printers and not solved (libnetsnmp dependency).

Good question. I wanted to know this also since I sometimes have to download ISOs more than once to get a "clean" one that md5 matches.rjbrewer wrote:Which kernel does the small iso use?

Re: Tried in every version
I don't understand. If you run the Puppy Package Manager and find the 'hpliplite' HP drivers package in the puppy-4 repo, it will also install the 'libnetsnmp' dependency.escucha wrote:Same error is reported for HP printers and not solved (libnetsnmp dependency).

Re: Tried in every version
I confirm that libnetsnmp is not automatically installed by Puppy's Package Manager when installing hpliplite (Checked in puppy4.3). It can/must be installed manually.BarryK wrote:I don't understand. Re: Tried in every version
I think that I will need to do some work on the PPM to clarify that.lluamco wrote:I confirm that libnetsnmp is not automatically installed by Puppy's Package Manager when installing hpliplite (Checked in puppy4.3). When you click on the hpliplite package, a window comes up, and it lists libnetsnmp as a dependency. The text in the window then advises to click the "Examine dependencies" button.
If you do not follow that advice and just click the "Install package" button then the dependency does not get installed.

My misunderstanding. Thanks for the explanation. Sincere apologies for the noise...BarryK wrote:[If you do not follow that advice and just click the "Install package" button then the dependency does not get installed.
Re: Tried in every version
Not noise! I ran through this on the beta versions, tried it every which way, and found that if you just select to install Hpliplite without farther investigation, the dep gets missed. With less experience, some folks will have trouble with this I fear.lluamco wrote:My misunderstanding. Thanks for the explanation. Not really a bug as such, just procedure.
