Problem saving files with Adobe Fireworks in WINE(SOLVED!)

#1 Post by henryfranz2005 »

I'm using wine 1.1.28 with adobe fireworks. So basically it worked. I use the program and after that I'll save the image that I made so after saving I go to the directory where I saved my image, but I can't find it. Thanks. I hope someone could help.

the wine drives are in /root/.wine - you will have to click on the "eye" it Rox to see .wine because the dot makes it hidden

in the mean time try using pfind to find it

No, the file I saved which is a.png file. I saved it in a directory. Then when navigate into that dir I cannot see the file.

Note:
-I used a windows application
-the file I saved is an image
-I used the application using wine 1.1.28

Check /home/root/.wine/dosdevices/ and whatever drive letter you saved it under.

if you use one of my full sfs builds there is a wine file manager builtin that helps when navigating files saved in wine as well. I am hoping to finish a new build soon (1.1.30 for Puppy 4.30)
