Installed your 2008_0918_RT2860_Linux_STA_v1.8.0.0-i386.pet and finally the wireless scan works. Many thanks. But I ran into other problems. I could not get WPA working (even after adding rt2660sta to wag-profiles.sh) Tried manual commands which work fine in 412/431 but no joy. So reverted to WEP. For this again the wizard did not work but a script with the required stuff and put in the Startup folder now works fine.ttuuxxx wrote:Here try this pet I just compiled for youmawebb88 wrote: No native rt2860sta module so used a pet (for the right kernel) someone posted earlier.

BTW not sure what is in your pet but /root/.packages/eeepcxorg.files only has one line of /usr/sbin/xorgwizard

I won't be adding it due to the size, hmmm I might try to cut it down and see if it works on the weekend.davesurrey wrote:tuuxxx:Thanks for that but at 31MB I'm a bit reluctant to add it unless I know just what this one should do better than/different from the one already in 214X15.Ok for all you samba guys I compiled the latest package with mountcif enabled its 31MB pet
