dpupa is very beautiful, but, a vector version of logo is really needed in order to print on CD and cover

Debian-style font is here (TTF)
According to the Debian logo page the real one is a commercial font.

I've been looking around trying to figure out how to vectorize and find that if the original layers aren't in some vector format already there are some hoops to jump through. Text can be converted to shapes but any raster layer other than a simple drawing I can't figure out how to do (yet). So here's a psd. As above the font is here.please, made available always a vector version of your logos

Guy...
image you have linked is a mere svg container for raster image
see
you have done an svg that has png image representing your logo linked
so your logo remains in raster format

it looks very good, only some notes:tubeguy wrote:OK, how about this one?
1 - Trim the page to logo size (I have trimmed)
2 - your logo has white background, while is valuable to have a transparent background (I have removed white background to made transparent)
3 - under logo layer you can find another layer having link to raster image (I have removed)
inkscape:label="Layer 1"
inkscape:groupmode="layer"
id="layer1">
<image
y="472.36218"
x="220.5"
id="image2449"
height="120"
width="309"
sodipodi:absref="C:\tubeguy\puppybg\dpupa.png"
xlink:href="dpupa.png" />
so, you can download from here a transparent-trimmed-clean version of dpupa logo (thanks fore your efforts)
