How to put Puppy in standby or sleep mode?
Hello, I'm very happy to have found puppy and be able to give new life to a 1999 Compaq Armada 128mb RAM, 18gb hdd. Is there a way to put puppy in standby or sleep mode?

In the Puppy Package Manager there is normally a acpitool package.
Install it and by issuing f.e. acpitool -s the machine goes into suspend mode.

Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).

I checked out the Puppy Mackage Manager and I couldn't find an acpitool package--I checked both names and descriptions. Or maybe I just don't understand the term. Kindly explain a bit more. Thanks.Béèm wrote:In the Puppy Package Manager there is normally a acpitool package.
