Hi ttuuxxx,
I attach the tabble configuration file. I used the standard icons from 214X to see the final appearance, just change what you want, I´m totally convinced of your designer/artistic capabilities.
If some one wants to include/exclude some of the listed items, please test the configuration file and then reply.
Thanks,
clarf

Hi Guys Here's Pburn for 2.14X, It needed 3 files to work, So this is a all in one version. Plus I made up a new theme for it. Screenshot below
It will also be in the next release, just wondering do you want more features in it, like dvd movie burning, normalise volume etc ? Might tripple the size, hmmm I'll see.
ps if anyone wants to hack it and add the xfburn icons located in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/stock/media
to the 5 Buttons near the top that have Burn-iso image, Black CD/DVD-rw, Copy Data Disk, Copy audio Cd, Copy/Shrink Video DVD
that would really dress it up
well enjoy and thanks Zigbert for fixing Pburn so that it can work on older kernels

do you want me to rewrite the tabble executable so it is Puppy Control Panel and not tabble, like I did with Dpup, I have the source, it would take a couple of minutes to do any changes...

Thanks ttuuxxx, ttuuxxx wrote:Here's the updated SfS-Converter, I had to change it from "R" to "X" extension

I didn´t fully tested 214X, so don´t know if bootmanager, remaster, installer, etc. works with the X change made to SFS. ttuuxxx did you run MHHP script to change all "R" to "X" references?, page 157:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... start=2347
The only one thing that I didn´t see in my initial test, was my updated rc.shutdown script , I made it to let users customize the pup_save name, please add this to next release (it´s down in same page 157).
Thanks again,
clarf

Hi dave click on the text not the iconsdavesurrey wrote:Is this supposed to be functional or just a graphic for comments? Here's table renamed 2.14X Control panel with clarf's apps added
It certainly doesn't work in my 214x RC frugal even after a reboot.
And can I suggest it goes other than in Menu>Personal. Suggest Setup.
Dave

Yes I ran the script, It was only just my sfs converter that wasn't changed.clarf wrote:Thanks ttuuxxx, ttuuxxx wrote:Here's the updated SfS-Converter, I had to change it from "R" to "X" extension

Dave don't worry about it, I did it myself You've always been real handy with 2.14X, actually it would be nice if the images did launch the apps, then it would work like the desktop icons doesdavesurrey wrote:Oh dear, I must be tired.Hi dave click on the text not the icons

Yes it works clicking the titles not icons. I hope it won't always be like that. Find it rather counter-intuitive, which I just seem to have proven.

Sure ttuuxxx, I attached it. EDIT: The update shutdown script is already in the RC that you posted. My fault I already had an old SFS in HD with the 214X extension used for previous test...ttuuxxx wrote: I thought I added your new rc.shutdown, hmmm can you upload it again please

Anyone has a suggestion for the Control Panel selection?. Do we have a icon selector app in 214X, didn´t see it?.
Greetings,
clarf

Just some small personal comments on the Control Panel.
1. as I mentioned above IMO it would be better if clicking the icons rather than the text would select them.
2. also I think this should be in Menu>SetUp not Menu>Personal
3. "Events" is a difficult one but think it deserves to be in Drives or even Miscellaneous, although I never like a Miscellaneous Category.
4. couldn't find Mouse/Keyboard setup. Also time/date/locale.
Otherwise it's really excellent.
Many thanks as ever

ttuuxxx,
if you want to do it yourself i'll understand, but i'm re-writting tabble to use the icons for launching as well as buttons, like my original pascal control panel...i'll send you the source when i'm finished if you like.(it will also include tooltip enablement...
Cheers
