Yes, that was a fine surprise, love it, great idea, getting to choose the browser and making the choice the default browser. My first change was always to install firefox. As already noted, new users probably need some guidance on which browser to choose.
Since there was some discussion about using a 64-bit browser, 64-bit systems still uses 32-bit software in Puppy with the exception of Kirk's Fatdog64 which uses only 64-bit software.
Everything seems to be working properly for my frugal installation on an ext4 partition, even CUPS. EDIT: Gzine had no audio or video as in previous versions. Video problem is corrected by installing "mplayer_codecs_full". Don't recall the fix for the audio.
