I like the first one, very snappy.

Second one all I get is sound.

With the second one, I get the full video including the moving images.

Rather good it is too. :D

The second one was good if you got past the 60 second countdown.

The second one was really good, but I had a 99 countdown before it started

Nice video (the first one). Maybe it can use a suggested URL towards the end, say, distrowatch.com/puppy ? :D

The first one is, in my opinion a no-go. Especially if I am going to be promoting a product.

In the Puppy Logo section -- The "for Dummies" line of books. That's a very well recognized series of books. Did they come out with a Puppy Linux for Dummies edition, and if so where can I get a copy.

Too bad, I liked the first one better than the second one, which I found amusing if over the top. I might put that one on.

No - I created that from a 'image generator' about the time we first started making manuals :)

This is the closest we have presently

That's what I thoght.

A bit of fun perhaps, but rather misleading in my opinion, especially in a promo piece. Someone viewing the video might think that there is an actual Puppy Linux for Dummies book that he can go out and buy.

I was so mislead, I went out and bought a book that has not been written.

Or someone might actually think there is a finalized version of Puppy 4

When BK first started talking about Quirky, I thought it was a personal project targeted at specific hardware like netbooks. As such, it had a reduced driver package.

But the recent Quirky development sounds more like a general-purpose Puppy. Does anyone know what Quirky may be missing?

Does Lupu have the full driver package?

Quirky is a lite version of T-pup, which is the latest T2 release, Like puppy 4 was based on T2, So if you want a full version then download Tpup when released, I did package it a few times already.
wary is the same a quirky but with a older xorg 7.3, that was used in series 4 and has been really great.
