broadcom 4357 in hp laptop

i have looked all over and believe i have found the answer to a lot of questions here. i hope!!!!

i downloaded and ran fatdog64 beta 3 today and found that it connected my wifi card to the internet.

after looking into the program, i believe the drivers are version 5.60.48.36.

i looked at the broadcom site here:

http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php

and found the latest drivers in a tar file.

sadly, i have no idea what to do with the tar file.

does it have to be turned into a pet somehow?

how does it get placed into the list of drivers in puppy?
