Working thru the Q&A with either network set-up wizard tells me that everything is working correctly and is connected. Any attempt to use the network connection to the internet fails with the message that there isn't any network connection.
Interestingly enough, my Netgear WG111v3 wireless modem configures (WPA2) just like it should
Internet access works like it should with WLAN0.
