I use meebo.com and freenode's webchat in the internet menu to replace ayttm, pixlr.com in addition to mtpaint, youconvertit.com in the utility menu and file2hd.com in the internet menu to replace all sorts of file grabbers.
Opera is present so you get a browser, a mail client, an image editor, IRC client, IM client, file downloader, BitTorrent client and file converter in one package.
I'm totally against all those "web" distros, but there's nothing wrong in supplying web-based alternatives to applications that don't work well, like ayttm.

Want to have 8 wallpapers in under 2k?
That could save some developers a MB of space
Just use these stretched
There are more available in eye candy
There are also micro wallpaper collections but I just put this together
as I could not find them
I think the zip is larger than the total size of the micro-wallpapers
Only in Puppy . . . you zip something and it gets larger . . .
Seems normal to me . . .
We made great use of these in Puppy 'Deep Thought'
Puppy
Optimal Linux

Always ask
Ask.
People may say no, come up with excuses or as in my case be incapable but it is always worth asking.
For example, I asked for a Fatdog logo
and very kindly it was provided
for Kirk and he now uses it
Lucid (release version) and Lucid Maverick (Alpha status)
and Dpup Squeeze (006 imminent) all make use of Quickpet
and as an end user you will know how simple and friendly it is
providing browsers and major software
The code is very simple (I think it is based originally on
my Gtkdialog3 efforts) and I am sure mick01 will help you out
if you get stuck and need to ask . . .
Barry has his blog, Jemimah has her web site
http://puppeee.com
Lucid has news built in . . .
Keep your users and testers involved
Even Puppy Saluki can have a wiki page and it does not yet exist . . .
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/Puppy6
As developers might be a little reticent to ask
perhaps they can think about what they can give to another Puppy
. . . it might be reciprocated . . .
Puppy Linux
Yours for the Asking
