SYSTEM : EEEPC 1001P Puppeee 4.3, Frugal install
Hi,
I've recently got a eeePC 1001P which irritatingly does not have Bluetooth, I was planning to get a USB dongle for it, does anyone have any experience of any one (or brand) working in Puppy better than any other?
There are two ones I see that look quite good:

Has anyone used a Belkin one?

This one uses a CSR chipset and is reported to work in Unbuntu
Thanks for getting this far.
Alison

I have not seen much reports on working bluetooth in puppy.
Search on bluetooth with the puppysearch link in my sig.

Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).
Consult Wikka
Use peppyy's puppysearch

I think just about any dongle will work - though I've read reports about very cheap ones being flaky (go figure ).
Bluetooth software on Linux however, is hit and miss. I think you shouldn't have a problem with with most mice and keyboards - but other devices such as phones, speakers, printers, etc, are probably going to be a pain.
