Gnome Player Pauses

#1 Post by egoguen »

I am new to Linux. Had a problem even getting sound to play but eventually found Retrovol and solved the lack of sound by adjusting the speaker volume there.

My problem now is intermittent 2 second breaks in the music about every 14 to 16 seconds. I assume there must be a fix for this but have been unable to find one. I have increased the cache size from the minimum value by doubling that value to 16 KB to no avail.

Any help you can furnish will be appreciated.

Regards,

I had the same problem with gnomemplayer pausing when trying to play a music cd.
I never reported it and as a work-around, I used pCD.
