You can't uninstall a program that came with Puppy Linux. I wouldn't worry, it's taking up less then 1 MB. (I'm pretty sure)

Hi noryb009

I am in no way knocking Puppy Linux but i always thought that one of the best things about any Linux distro was the user's ability to chop and change when and where ever he/she choose? After all, in this case, what's the point of keeping software you can't or don't use?

By the way, the reply was appreciated, Thanks

All the initial packages are in a sfs, which is read only.
You can create a new ISO, packages removed, with the remaster facility.
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).

I see you are using a full install.
In that case any file you trash and delete will be actually removed;
not just hidden, as is the case with frugal.
I use pfind (in filesystem) to search for the files (all files).
Keep notes of the files I trash-delete.
If I remove something that causes dependency problems, I replace
the needed files from the live cd; or rerun the install from the cd and
choose "update" instead of "wipe".

When and if you get around to trying a remaster, here's a nice app
for removing files.

Msi Wind U100, N270 1.6>2.0Ghz, 1.5Gb ram.
Eeepc 8g 701, 900Mhz, 1Gb ram.
Full installs
