I have 4.3.1 installed (full HD, 643MB mem) on a Dell Dimension 4500 and am loving every second of it (this old machine is now the fastest one I own).
However, I still do not get any sound after running ALSA sound wizard. I've also made sure the AlsaMixer levels are unmuted and maxed, and yes, the speakers are plugged in.
Card is Intel 82801DB-ICH4.
Chip is Analog Devices AD1981A.
Here is some more info:

Any suggestions for getting the sound going would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
