Greetings,
I am running puppeee 1.0 based on 4.3 on the eeepc 4g surf.
I am looking for a program that i can use to record a track of audio, then play into headphones while i record another track. a looping function would be handy, and i need the ability to mix down to a mp3 or other common standard audio file.
quality does not need to be high as it is just for making silly practice songs with voice and guitar when im travelling.
just like the old cassette portastudios.
the hardware of the eeepc should be more than good enough and i only need one channel at a time. simplicity is important because im not into learning to use massive audio mastering packages like vst or rosegarden.
hopefully something the kids can use too!
if there is only something for lupu then i suppose i can install to usb stick but i rather prefer puppeee.
thanks.

No, nooo not mp3 . Please look into OGG/Vorbis it's superior, technically and in reality .drspastic wrote:i need the ability to mix down to a mp3 or other common standard audio file.

Try audacity - it has a nice intuitive interface... don't think it does looping though.
Do you know a good gtkdialog program? Please post a link here
