desktop wont save state

He all got pupp and i love it, it does everything i need, EXCEPT save the desktop state, i remove icons (booting from USB) and then when i restart they are back again, how can i stop this

Which version of Puppy are you using and how did you remove the icons.

Did you right click on them and select remove.

This is the file that sets your desktop's icons: /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin
Usually after a change in SFS layout (add/remove), puppy will recreate it as it was in first boot, showing your icons as default configuration.
