Hello Forum:
I'm running Puppy 5.2.5. In the hardware setup, there's an option to add a second keyboard layout. (I use dvorak, my wife uses qwerty). I have added in the second layout, but can't for the life of me figure out how to switch between the two. Can someone guide me through?
Thanks.
brian

If all did go well, you should have two keyboard icons in the tray to chose from.
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).

Ah - I see I didn't add a second keyboard. I was in the "xorg" keyboard interface. There's an option for additional keyboard layouts but it's obviously not where I need to be. In the puppy setup menu I can't find any such option. Can you give me the path to it?
Sorry for the delayed response.
Appreciate the assistance.

shitching is possible, but no indicator of where you are
Switching is possible:
I used this instruction: http://puppylinux.org/wikka/KeyboardLayouts
The problem now is to know which layout is active at the moment - I have to every time try and type several characters to learn that.
Can not find any way to have keyboard layout indicator on the screen. Would be grateful if anybody can help.
