I've encountered a small problem with the sidebar configuration; it's impossible to remove the sidebar.
I've rebooted but it's still there, I uninstalled Pwidgets but it was still there. I thought after reinstalling Pwidgets it may go but hasn't.
Any ideas on this bug/problem?
.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
PS. I tried selecting another sidebar and then removing it but the original one never went away
Pwidget sidebar problem - unable to remove
It's gone!
Just a quick update - the sidebar has gone on its own accord.
I don't understand how it happened but this morning when I booted up it had gone.
Sorry to waste anyone's time for reading this.

This is just to stop the ROX pupypin from starting up on the desktop. I needed this to play around with wbar && conky/lua. Open up your .xinitrc in a text editor and comment out these lines.
Code: Select all
#relocates right-side icons to actual right-side of screen...
#/usr/sbin/fixPuppyPin /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin #v1.0.7
#w468 on old PCs this sometimes does not start, see further down...
#if [ -f /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPan1 ];then
#rox -p /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin -r /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPan1
#else
#rox -p /root/Choices/ROX-Filer/PuppyPin
#f
