I want to install puppy on a webdt366 tablet. The only things I need to run on it is a web browser, and I would like to get festival running to speak events my server pushes out. I'd also like to get perl working if I have the room.
Would this be possible to get working on a 500M hard drive in the tablet, with the touchscreen drivers?
I'd like to be able to boot the tablet and have it directly run a browser (not real particular on which one, smaller the better) and run festival in client mode that logs into my festival server on a different IP. For maintenance I'd like to have an ssh server working on the tablet as well.
Am I out of hard drive space with all this? Can I get puppy to install on that? The machine has 512M of ram as well.
Thanks.
Puppy on a WebDT366 Tablet
It is certainly possible to run Puppy on your system.
Puppy can run from a USB stick without needing to take room on your harddrive.
