Nooby, I hate the censorship that goes on under the guise of "Hate Speech". Have we forgotten already the lesson from WWII ? Hitler rose to power, under color of law, with the favor and approval of the German people. Controlling the media he was able to spoon feed the German people with lies and deceit until... well we all know the end. Freedom of speech ought to be present beyond the daily newspaper - in every area of our lives. I have repeatedly been referred to a post that was no longer here only to be shown in a screenshot it once was. The fact is censorship exists here. That this thread remains may indicate relaxing of the standards. Maybe not, time alone will tell.

I sure don't agree with them at times but them are the "Rules" it is like that

Maybe hate speech is in the eye of the one claiming it has been done.
But that is how Political Correctness work. Them do set the agenda.

The way out of it is not to trig more hatred and more flame wars and
to talk bad about others.

The way out has to be better research on why people do hate each other.

He do real natural science research try to find out what really goes on when people feel disgust. None like that he do such research.

Both political Left and political Right dislike such research because both need the dichotomy of who is right and who is wrong.

Jon Haidt gives answers why people feel hatred. He points to solutions.

He does not support the hate speech, he try to find ways to get everybody to listen and learn from knowledge instead of everybody
doing their best to trig new hatred.

He is interesting to read. I find his views important. That does not mean I support anything he say but he is a hope for a better world as I see it.

When somebody runs to the police or somebody of authority to turn in somebody over something minor and can be fixed easily. Turning in somebody for something SERIOUS does NOT count as snitching.
Snitching: "Officer, somebody ran a red light. The license plate number was so-and-so, driving a pickup truck".

Not snitching: "Officer, I witnessed a rape. The person had a leather jacket and blue jeans. The victim was wearing a blue blouse with a pink skirt.

The topic as I get it is that Sit Heel Speak did links to a kind of Revisionist
that ahve conspiracy ideas about a ethnic minority and say them have too much to say in world politics and world economics.

I don't know why he has these needs to post this on puppy forum.

The subject belongs to sites that are seen as hate speech where I live.

Such for sure is illegal to do where I live. One simply don't support
such conspiracy views. It is very bad behavior and even illegal.

So that is the topic and I support that we should have none of that hatred here but sure we should have free speech and that is what we have seen from how the Admin interpret it and that is how it always are.

Every Admin decide on policy and interpretation where to set the line.

Nope I am not like that at all. I know free speech is about everybody have a say but that does not support hatred and hatred is not free speech.

Now some would use the "hatred card" against what is not hatred
but the style of what Sit heel speak referred to looked like hatred to me.

And he did imply that anybody that did not see GMO as something very bad was insane. To me that is hate speech.
