disappearing tray

#1 Post by 800 »

I am running FD64-520 on an AMD 64 bit processor. I have a persistant problem with the tray, which I have at the top of the screen, disappearing after bootup. I have to ^-alt-del to get the cli and restart the ui with 'xwin'.

I boot FD from CD and have the save file on a NTSF data volume.

this happens every time I boot, and lately it has happened several times while using the software.

if anyone has any ideas how I can resolve this they are appreciated.

Thanks for looking

BUMP

I was hoping someone would see this and maybe take a crack at helping me sort it out...

I have to reboot xwin everytime I turn on the computer, after frisbee addresses the adaptor. Is this normal for FatDog64?

thanks for any help

Ah well it's all good. Got that problem solved finally. It was a stunning process and a funny solution, but I'm all OK now.

adios
