Many of us faithful followers didn't have a chance.
Tee hee. Were the early clickers left for howling? Too cruel
Raspberry Pi is a small foundation - not a billion dollar corp.
They have done well to generate such astonishing interest.
Was on the BBC 6PM news yesterday.
What Rpi have done, very kindly is allowed everyone worldwide
to have access to the hardware. In fact when someone said,
'what if someone steals and clones your idea?' Eben Uptons response was,
'Great!'
What may have happened is servers in other parts of the world
did not go down and so people were able to move beyond 'Express an interest'
- which I have now done twice for each supplier.
Good to hear from John - what adventures he is having travelling the world
Having murgaLua on PARM would be great. The language was in several versions
of Puppy. Yep we have supported tcl (pronounced tickle) PuppyBasic
(there really is such a language) and all manner of BASIC's
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/PuppyBasic
We have to have an 'ARM development environment' and Barryk has an Rpi on order
(as well as two other ARM boards).
Others will be taunting us when their boards arrive
and they get to run any ISO's Puppy produces

and now an interlude for some Buddha Dharma
'desire is the source of all suffering.' [by not anon. (Not recently.)]
The Buddha said that
and also said:
Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle,
and the life of the candle will not be shortened.
Happiness never decreases by being shared.
We all feel - desire, anger, sorrow etc
It is what we do with it . . .
Desire and excitement for Rpi arises
and (we Buddhists) let it go
We don't hang on to it and let it dominate our own
well being . . .
When I get a Pi, I will put YAP on it
and worship hounds
