I just realized that computer is dual core :oops: And on here it has a list of puppies for multicore computers: http://multi-core-puppies.wikispaces.com/ Should I use FatDog 64 to take advantage of both cores, instead of slacko? Thanks!

Fatdog64-521 would be fine if you want to take advantage of your 64 bit capability. Another possibility, although still 32 bit, is the pae version of the new Slacko 5.3.3 which is optimized for multicore processors. Better yet, install and try both. Both are superb.

Puppy Menu > Setup > BootFlash

I believe it lets you choose the ISO of your choice

Any puppy that has "smp" enabled will use multi-core;
pae or 64 bit are irrelevant.

Inspiron 700m, Pent.M 1.6Ghz, 1Gb ram.
Msi Wind U100, N270 1.6>2.0Ghz, 1.5Gb ram.
Eeepc 8g 701, 900Mhz, 1Gb ram.
Full installs

Would then for instance FatDog64 well run on a dual-core 32-bit CPU ...? :o

No :(
Dual core 32 bit will not run on Fatdog64bit which is compiled for 64bit processors.

You may have a 64bit computer that can ALSO run in 32bit mode; such as the AMD Athlon.
