Can I add stuff from the HD when I remaster?
Can I add stuff from the HD when I remaster?
When I remaster a CD can I pull files off of the hard drive to put on it? (dillo, songs, etc)
Uh huh, but you'll prolly have to read up a bit more of mkiofs about how to had files and what not.....Anything is possible....Remember we aren't born knowing everything and wont understand things straight away, read & do and you may surprise yourself. Making mistakes is good because it gives you greater knowledge and you are more likely to remember what works better....Make notes of what owrks and what doesn't.
google for unix command you need to learn about manpage

Re: Remastering
Yes, it is possible
do a HD installation first, customize whatever you want, add appl, songs and then remaster a live-CD from hard drive. I just post a how-to today, with a script to build it
