For a long time I've kept a richtextfile (made with abiword) to keep notes on webpages and the like related to puppy linux and other stuff.
Today, when I tried to go back to some of those pages by cutting and pasting the web addresses from that files, I'd get a webpage with this error:
But if I find the same page, by searching the forums, it has the exact same address that I put in!The topic or post you requested does not exist
Even wierder: I thought, well maybe there's some sort of hidden code attached to the richtext. So I cut and past everything into a new text file in geany. And then cut and paste from there. I still get the same behavior.
Even wierder yet: In the geany text file, I can have two addresses that look identical to me:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... ?t=68200
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=68200
The first gets the missing webpage error.
The second gets me to the proper page! (on Openbox/fbpanel) The only difference is that this second instance was cut and paste today, not weeks earlier as in the first instance.
For what its worth I'm using Firefox 13.0.1
Am I missing something?!?!?
PS-- I tried the links above, on the "preview before posting page" and still got the same experience
