Hi,
Somehow, swapon is run whenever I bring up urxvt. Where do I go to make this stop? Thanks.

Welcome Linux_Guy. You're launching it from where and on which Pup?

urxvt runs command on start?
Thanks. Slacko 5.3.3. This happens from wbar or from a terminal session or when using rox (click on urxvt in /usr/bin). This is happening when launching rxvt also.

I have spent a few hours looking for this and finally found it in /etc/profile.local. Cleared it and now all is well again. Thanks for helping.
Strange though as I did a contents search for "swapon" in all files and this didn't come up as a result.

Do you have the swapfile manager installed? For some reason this tool puts the swapon and sysctl (to set swapiness) commands into the /etc/profile.local file.
Yes, I do. Thanks. I was thinking that it was added somehow when checking that swapfile manager made the swapfile.
