i have recently discovered puppy linux and downloaded wary.
i run it thru usb and works fine but offline.
can somebody guide how to make puppy detect my wireless modem?
How to use my wireless modem in Wary?
Wireless modem? Do you mean router or some other device?
The easy way to connect your wireless card is as follows;
Menu >Setup > Internet Connection Wizard > Wired or Wireless Lan (or GPRS wireless modem if you have one) Select wlan0 and follow the instructions from there.
Sorry I can't be a bit more precise but I am on a full install using a wired connection , and so consequently all the options are not showing.
See how you get on and if you need more help please ask and if no one else comes to the rescue I will boot up my laptop with a "live" cd and walk you through the process.
Good luck and welcome to the kennels.

Have you selected the right encryption ? I think WEP is quite old now.
I use WAP on my router. Also have you put the correct password into the box ? (Caps lock on by any chance?)
These replies may be stating the obvious but better to check all steps as we go. It usually only takes only one little mistake !
