Why not just use wget to grab it.snayak wrote:Hello Friends,
Can we have these big iso files in torrent.
I am interested to use it. However, I am not able to download it because, my Internet goes off time to time. Also I have severe bandwidth limitation per month.
Hope, if we can have all the big files in torrent, we can have a taste of newly released puppies, when we have some leftover bandwidth in the last week of months.
Sincerely,

Let's say you want to download the file into: /root/downloads
go into that directory and open a console there.
Then enter something like this:
Code: Select all
wget -c ftp://ftp.nluug.nl/pub/metalab/distributions/fatdog/iso/Fatdog64-611-seamonkey.iso
So, if you get cut off or lose your connection or you stop the download yourself (with Ctrl+c),
all you need to do in order to resume the download is go back into the /root/downloads directory
and re-run the same wget command.
Hope this helps
