#1 Post by technewz »

Hello, recently i had a problem with chrome when i tried to sign in a message appears "Your profile could not be opened correctly. Some features may be unavailable. Please check that the profile exists and you have permission to read and write its contents."

I searched and i saw that i must make a new profile i tried to delete Web Data file but i cant find it.

What can i do ?

As i said the problem is that i cannot find ~/.config/google-chrome/Default or ~/.config/chromium/Default directories.

technewz, the .filename bit is what signifies a 'hidden' file in Puppy -- IIRC in the file window you should see a button that looks like an eye (depending on what version of Puppy and what theme you have, it might look different). Click it and all the hidden stuff should magically appear.

Try it with this <experimental> switch >> --try-chrome-again

Failing >> the installer should clue you in to what it's plans are..

Pup doesn't have a *true* cli pacman like other distros.
