Basically, it's a combination of Aragon's xonclock.pet, but the main binary has been replaced with the one from Zigbert's Pwidgets, because it has '--window-id' hack what makes that the clock shows up on the desktop automatically (otherwise, there's a need to click anywhere on the desktop).
I also mixed some skins from both sources and a few from CatDude's tarball.
Couldn't include more due to forum restrictions of attachment size.
But if you'll get some additional skins, they should go to /usr/local/share/xonclock/skins/.
From my side I wrote a GUI (not all options are covered, but most of them) and created a .pet out of that mess.
Aha, when you click '(Re)start' button a launcher will be created in /root/Startup/.
And conversely - 'Stop' deletes the launcher.
_______________
Version 1.1:
- bugfix: 'xonclock-config' won't start if filename of a skin contains more than 1 space (that was weird);
- bugfix: 'xonclock-config' won't start if 'Date format' field was emptied;
- bugfix: corrupted text in pop-up windows due to lack of xmessage '-wrap' option in some Puppies (e.g. Lupu);
- two minor changes in GUI.
Enjoy &
Greetings!
