Guy Dog 5.0.1
Well done and fast booting! Installed to USB
Hats off to a great pup!
Runs nice out of the box, I like the package manager and used it to find Flash so I could watch youtube, and rox for the mount tool (it gave a error that I needed it) Firefox updated from 7 to 10 automatically. It's nice to get back down to under 200 mb and a fast boot (felt like 10 sec) which is how Puppy started. I'll probably add stuff like Gimp as time goes by but for a Pocket Puppy on a USB pen it's nice.
Thanks!
(PS, I installed the iso directly to the usb using unetbootin-windows-568.exe from Win7, and running on an old Dell Optiplex GX620)

Exprimo Pets Should run in Guygod
Hi,
I was scrolling thru "Derivatives" and was surprised by activity on this thread.
I discontinued using Guydog. But anyone still interested in using it should know that pemasu used iguleder's kernel to develop Exprimo and Exprimo-Multicore. Consequently, almost anything which runs under them can be installed and should run under Guydog.
Exprimo repo: http://smokey01.com/pemasu/pet_packages-dpup/
Many Lupu/Lucid pets will also work.
I recommend created a protected SaveFile before installing each "non-Guydog" pet. Makes it easier to recover from something which breaks other apps.

Maybe he has put The Guy on ice or the back burner?
Try out his home page. I give link soon.
Seems he promote roar-ng there with Subito.
Maybe that is his main motivation now and
that Guy puppy is as is. Look here and maybe
write PM to him if he don't look here and answer.

rodocop and that where a very fast server too. Thanks

tubeguy has mirrored it!

it's 104 mb.
Anybody have a devx.sfs link for the Puppy?
Looking through the thread All I found were working links to the iso.
Kernel Headers and devx.sfs are gone.
Still a fresh install but I am building it up slowly. Running it off of a 128MB SD flash card.
I went with this because I needed something small yet powerful to
fit on the 128MB SD flash card.

rokytnji,
In case no one has PM'd you, Pemasu has an active link in Dpup Exprimo 5X15 here http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 973#548973.
I downloaded it last night and compared it to my copy from when I managed to grab http://www.iguleder.info/puppy/kernel/l ... 4/packages and /sources, md5sum checked ok.
If you manage to get devx I wouldn't mind a copy for my collection since I didn't always grab one when I tried some pups.

Thanks to Puppy user Ally
Slowly getting there. Added spacefm for now.
Adjusted tint2rc to show all 4 desktops plus made it a little larger. Also included battery time and perc% shown left in tint2rc. Included Day,Date,Month,Time (Military instead of am or pm) in tint2 also. Running xmms along side deadbeef (just because of streaming radio). No moc in here/installed yet. That is another project for later.
Not in a hurry on this one. I am just glad that this all fit on a old throw away 128MB SD card out of a old Broken Kodak camera AND runs on this
And no, lm-sensors and mesa-utils is not a big priority or going to be installed on this setup.
