The Coffee God is the true God. :)

#1 Post by nooby »

Should not Nooby gt a firm grip on reality instead
for the imagined God? God sometime
Maybe that is as important and impossible to grasp
due to it being an inner interpretation of an outer
phenomena. You need to be a well trained scientist
on make such a list of interpretations.

More ,even way moe complex than an wiil guess
on what a God really is.
Reality jut i and you have to deal with the uncertainties
on reality.

So what is left to related to. ?

How to relate to other Human beings using coffee
as the means to lighten things up a bit when one
try to cooperate. That is my wild guess what God is
and all about how and what it is to be a human.

Any improvement on it is most welcome to share

If one does not believe in God, then one must truly fear dying. If God exists, then paradise awaits you on the other side. If he doesn't, then you disappear to nothing and it won't matter, anyway. I have to say that I don't recall a thing before I was born so I may or may not exist after I die but I believe that God is there for us.

Pilon Expresso Coffee -- Good stuff and cheaper than the Starbucks and other packaged stuff in the stores. It's no Gevalia but it's good stuff. Don't be fooled by the size of those vacuum packed bricks of coffee. There's quite a bit of coffee in there!

Well it does matter a lot to me morally. During some 80 years
you have then supported a tyrannic fierce monster
instead of a friendly Java Coffee God. :)

And what are you supposed to share when talking about
your life if Coffee is not the most shared and common drink
apart from the poison that I name Alco.

Now I sould not talk down the experience of Alco in the right amount.

One of the best or the utmost and best experience that I have had
is some 6 CC of alco way back in 1977 or so.

But the Alco -god is a tricky God that some find too irresistible.

Coffee is more forgiving and can be shared with less danger for dependence.

So I know what good effect Alco can have but I did not
want to become dependent so I never continued the usage of it.
Besides alco taste real bad compared to Cae Lathe or how you spell it.

My fave among the many taste of Coffee.

Okay maybe it is not fair to compare those/these experiences
of God but if you think of the consequences of these very different interpretations.
I prefer the less dangerous dependence of Coffee compared to a fundy God .

To be dependent on Coffee is dramatically less dangerous than
to become dependent on a Fundamentalist interpretation of God.

Alco is on that level of being Cemically fundy..
Okay both can be very fundy but normal usage of Coffee
is hard to make that strident and dangerous.

You have to very coffee so fanatic that Coffee get dangerous.
But it is way too easy to make a fundy faith dangerous.
My anti-theistic atheism had the function of a fundy religion on me
so I know from inside my body what I talk about.

Coffee God... yes, I can relate to this :)
Coffee and conversation with friends - those are the moments when we enjoy life the most.
Those little things that mean so much to us...
Is it really important to thinker about some greater mystery and loose yourself in your thoughts or just feel the moment and enjoy it?

Coffee God... yes!

Indeed, I agree with dejan555.

@nooby
Besides, nooby, why do you try to get a firm grip on God?
Like the pôliceman, a firm grip on his suspect?
Like the master of a dog, a firm grip on the leash?
Like the college professor, a firm grip on his subject?

It may be the other way around. Maybe God is scratching His head and asking His
saints and His angels a similar question in the Heaven forum:
"Can someone please help me get a firm grip on nooby?
He thinks that he can get a firm grip on Me!"
(Now, where is the tongue-in-cheek icon...)

Also, I think I can find valid arguments that God is not Coffee, but the Coffee-Maker. ;)
He has various incarnations in various countries, too: American Percolator, Italian
Press-Coffee, French Drip-Filter, Tunisian Boiled-in-the-Fire Espresso, etc. ;)

Just teasing! BFN.

Complex and simple.

Like any young boy, I had to take a pee from time to time. The Devil would encourage me to leave the toilet seat up after I finished. Jesus, of course, wanted me to put the toilet seat down.

If a sister was going to use the bathroom next, I would leave the toilet seat up out of general principles.

It might sound like I'm teasing and in a way I am. But if I expounded and elaborated more, you would find that I'm not teasing as much as it may appear.

The nature of God

At church, for example, any kid knows or should know that God is not as greedy, petty and controlling as they make him out to be.

Of course God doesn't care if we get grass stains on our jeans, scuff our shoes, comb our hair or don't know how to tie a good knot with a tie.

If he cares about our behavior, it is probably in a broad sense. Something along the lines of being a good and well intended person.

Change subject: Coffee

She woke up this morning and (wrongfully) thought I should do the same. My attitude was: I not going to get up just because a bed partner thinks I should. After demanding that she leave me alone began to show signs of failure, I negotiated with her saying to make me some coffee and I'll get up.

She made the coffee.

Isn't that how things are supposed to be?

Coffee as the savior or mediator. :) Make amends with a cup of Coffee.
Sorry my English has no good access to such words needed.

Hey musher0 .very good advice about not controlling the Coffee God.

To take him or her for granted.

So the Coffee God is more like a Coffee Goddess.
She hand out a cup only when she is in the mood
so don't try to force or to rush or to control her
or make you own and invite her instead to share
in the coffee you make for your pleasure.

A young person that I met today suggested
that one could show "Thankfulness" through
sharing a cup of Coffee with friends or alone.

Great suggestion I though. will try to do that now and then.

Life should have a healthful amount of feeling thankful
that I did get 70 years of getting to know Life.
So many have much shorter Life expectancy ahead..

I am too greedy most of the time. Life should serve me instead
of me being part of it all and to no make demands all the time.

Now, Nooby, for making us all thirst for coffee your penance is to send us each a pound of the best coffee money can buy (and God can grow).

I like mine with Honey and thick cream. Dark as rust.

My Kidneys love it also and say thank you.

At one point, I was up to 8 cups a day. Now, I'm closer to 4. It hasn't killed me yet and for those watching such things, the one or two packets of Splenda or Equal (or other cheaper knockoff) haven't hurt me, either! Somehow, I'm sure that sugar would have been 10x worse.

I like this favourite song of yours rokytnji.

I think I'll suggest it to my daughter [that's her in the photo below] as one of the pieces of music to which she performs her Belly-dancing.

Haha , My Mom loved Coffee, several cups a day.

Dad took Tea maybe at most once a day.
Could Tea blade have a "Stealth" agenda to
make the roosted Beans "obsolete"?
t
There is a war going on in Heaven. Roasted Beans or roasted leaf blades?

I trust the chemicals that affect the brain are rather similar
to each other.? The Coffee God has many ways to reach our heart. :)

Next time it take Alco to stealth itself. Dependence being the agenda?

Even the Music God use chemicals for to feel high.

What a waist it must have been. All the investments made and
it all got lost. :)

The Coffee God is sure indeed jealous and don't like competition.
