I've decided that I would like to install PL on this SSD so I have a portable Linux. And I noticed that Saucy 5.8 has the kernel 3.15 that I need!

1) there's no package installer (is that intended?)
2) the biggest problem is that the USB installer makes a lot of partitions, I would prefer at most two partitions and no SWAP partition - I have 8Gig RAM (or point it to my int hd swap part). Can I do this?
Otherwise, Puppy worked fine. Boot time was only a few seconds and apps started in a flash. (There were some problems using Xorgwizard - but if I just left it as it initially installed everything was fine.)
