Slacko 5.7 Network doesn't save settings - SOLVED

#1 Post by Varmint »

I've noticed that I have to keep setting up wlan0 every time I use this version, as it doesn't save it's settings when told to. Has anyone got an answer to this?

I had the same issue and Frisbee from the PPM solved the issue.

Or get PWF. It is guaranteed to never, ever lose your settings.

If you have already started to use Frisbee, a clean install is recommended.

My reply:

Excellent! Tried it, and it just works. Not sure why the network wiz that came with it wouldn't hold settings between boots. Perhaps a bug with this version.

Thanks to rcrsn51 for this solution!
