Chinese Language Pets
Chinese Language pet
Further to my recent posting for Quirky April 64bit, Barry Kauler has released a slightly cutdown version of Quirky April called Wary64. A live CD version of Wary64 version 6.99 was also released on Feb 16.
Main features of Wary64:
smaller size than April64,
mostly achieved by a small subset of the Xorg drivers -- no llvm, mesa, opengl.
no Qt4 (which is required for VLC media player), substitued by Xine media player (only requires Xlib, not GTK or Qt libs)
no samba and pidgin. IRC chat provided by SeaMonkey
some less-needed kernel modules were also dropped
live-CD version allows for live session and frugal installations
