Yes, 01micko and Sigmund, I had the same experience.
I unnstalled & reinstalled a few times.
It's OK now, but of course I don't know why it had behaved that way.
I was going to report this but see that others have already done so. pMusic 4.6.0 in Dpup Wheezy remastered main puppy .sfs with no save-file so nothing in /root/.pmusic. Dependencies should be all OK, pMusic 4.5.1 runs OK. Small initial splash appears for a fraction of a second but then nothing.

Hi guys
Thanks for giving feedback.
We got to fix this, but surprisingly I can't reproduce it. But you are all capable to help out.
The message indicates that the gtkdialog xml-code is corrupt. pMusic has 2 switches that can help us:
pmusic --debug
give us more output, and maybe this gives an idea where it goes wrong when gtkdialog executes /root/.pmusic/tmp/xml_pmusic
If this doesn't help we can use this
pmusic --dump-gtk | gtkdialog -s
to execute a clean xml-code. This won't work 100% because pmusic has its own preconfigured settings, but it might give us a clue how gtkdialog acts on the code.
Hi Sigmund, I have just tried 4.6.0 in my Slacko 5.6 derivative (which never has any savefile - always discards config changes between sessions) and have the same problem. My terminal outputs as follows:
# pmusic --debug
/usr/local/pmusic/pmusic: line 420: kill: (27399) - No such process
** (gtkdialog:29686): ERROR **: gtkdialog: Error in line 593, near token '</vbox>': syntax error

I'll take a look at equaliser errors reported in tahr, most likey because alsaequal/caps isn't compiled in tahr. EDIT: oh, I see that was a slacko remaster. On your own with that one greengeek! Pequaliser has always worked fine in all slacko main releases.
Thanks Sigmund - v4.6.0-1 working fine for me now. Just tried the pstreamer too - very entertaining. Not all listed NZ stations were working for me (many of them said "no connection") but thats probably to do with my distro (codecs etc).
cheers.

Most likely it is not because of your codecs (it could happen if ffmpeg is compiled without streaming support), but because of trouble on the server side. The radio stream could be temporarily down. But most likely, it is a broken link in the radio index. It is generated from the db at radiosure.com. Everyone can contribute to improve the db by giving the knowledge to radiosure.com.
pMusic 4.6.0.1 loaded in replacement of V. 451 on release candidate ASRI EDU 310 (precise 5..1 France)
Pmusic CD removed. (pCD does the same plus titles listed )
French see topic here and add your test reports merci

Can you explain this more in detail. I have left pCD ages ago simply because pMusic CD is better, as it integrates with the rest of the pMusic structure. Ie. ripping/converting, extended trackinfo and using cdda tracks in combination with local files/streams in playlists
pMusic list of songs Zigbert, hello. First of all, i am no used to CD oeprations with a computer. I test them for our teacher master of ASRI EDU. My information was the pCD list the songs of the CD,after deeper check Pmusic-CD too.
Ripping : pCD runs Asunder, con with you can choose which songs to rip.
Pmusic CD would'nt offer this choice.
Titles are not registered. can i marry with an existing list (got when reading the CD)
It was not my aim to spend a lot of time with Music menu.
When ASRI edu installs pMUsic 4.6.0.1 he should withdraw some existing programs like asunder. he should review completely the multimedia menu. But music is not his cup of tea, as pupils are not supposed to use that.
In a general way, i would like to use only Puppy made tools (PeasyWIFI, pMusic, Precord and so on) to encourage their creators. Frisbee in not bad, put Peasywifi too, and is a Puppy product. But French Puplets don't play the rule (my rule)
I will test again Pmusic until monday. It's promised.

pMusic 4.6.1 removes support of azlyrics.com because of their license. Now there are only 2 lyrics sites back. Preferable, we should have at least one more to ensure that at least one site works when html code is changed out there, and I don't get pMusic updated... Do you know about a good site in addition to lyrics.wikia.com and elyrics.net. There can't be any license of third-part use.
