Typing causes cursor to jump in Puppy Precise

#1 Post by iw2evk »

Hi,

during typing on precise puppy (latest release) the cursor jump on wrongh row.
So i overwrite the text previusly typed.
I use a aspire 1650 notebook and i've checked if it's caused by touchig the touchpad, but it a random problem...

With a old notebook and lucid 5.2.8 i've solved using a vesa driver for screen,
but this time don't work!
The use of updating driver for my video card don't change situation..also the use of vesa driver

Someone have patched this annoyng issue?

Thanks

What program are you typing in?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

I don't know how you decided that it wasn't the touchpad, but in my experience, that's exactly what the problem is. In my case, the edge of my palm was brushing the touchpad. It drove me crazy until I figured out what was happening.
