Concernant ton problème d'écran noir, voici les commentaires de Barry K au sujet des différences entre Wary et Racy 5.5
Tu peux aussi tester avec les paramètres au boot de puppy :Puppy Master wrote:Wary does not use KMS. Racy has KMS turned on by default for the 'i915' and 'nouveau' kernel modules, and off for the 'radeon' kernel module.
This KMS thing is a problem if you want to use an alternative Xorg driver, that does not work with KMS. For example, for nVidia video cards, Racy has the alternative 'nv' Xorg driver,
there is also a PET package of the commercial nVidia kernel/Xorg drivers (see System category in the Puppy Package Manager)
-- but there may be a hassle switching over from the 'nouveau' kernel/Xorg drivers (especially if the latter gives you a black screen!).
En frugale, si tu restes bloqué avec un écran noir à partir du lancement de X, tu peux démarrer sans X afin de relancer xorgwizard avec le paramètre : pfix=nox01micko wrote:If you boot to blackscreen:
- for intel cards:
i915.modeset=0
- ATI/AMD radeon cards:
radeon.modeset=0
- nvidia cards:
nouveau.modeset=0
Those strings must be placed after (example) puppy pfix=ram i915.modeset=0 for live boot or on the kernel line of extlinux.conf, syslinux.conf, menu.lst, lilo.conf
- Old nvidia N3x cards (mx440, fx5200 and some others) often do not render properly.
For those use this string in a similar fashion to above:
nouveau.noaccel=1
- If you have an Intel® Brookdale graphics controller you must enable 8 MB of memory to the graphics in the BIOS of the computer.
