Thanks, Bill. Yeah, my "testing" build had the rxvt and sqaushfs-bugfixes too, and I had installed those too along with the xorg-server-1.18.3. Once you do them, they are removed from that bugfix popup window (hence, why there not shown in mine). But I didn't do all the xorg ones, thinking the other 3 weren't necessary (since they were not originally installed in the first place, unlike rxvt, squashfs, an xorg-server-1.18.3". I'll install the other 3 "xorg" ones, repeat everything I was doing last night (and watching Slacko freeze up left & right) and hopefully it will make a difference. Thanks again.Billtoo wrote:Hi,
I installed all 4 of the files, dragging and dropping the 1st on into the package manager, then clicking on it brought up the others so I clicked on them too.
That bugfix just showed up recently, my rationalise branch also had an rvxt and makesfs (I think that was it) update as well.
P.S. Wonder if anyone else besides me noticed Micko put in not just the regular "redshift & redshift-gtk" stuff, but instead the nice "redshiftgui" (like Fred has in the dogs)? It was/is really nice, and I think redshiftgui should be a standard offering in all pups given the amount of people asking about it. Another thread in "Puppy Projects" was opened up some weeks back by two looking for some way to control their screens like redshiftgui does.
