I have posted this because I have not found a way to get this very cheap printer /scanner (AUD $19) to run properly.
I have been very successful with its competitor Cannon MG2560 (AUD $15) which runs without additions .
The program available from HP is "HPLIP.bin" and trying to compile this is unsucessful as there are unsatisfied dependancies and a chase your tail scenario.
See here for output http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=112472
I'm hoping someone with more knowledge of printers than me can help sort it out and make this dirt cheap but excellent printer useable for the Puppy community.

I recently bought the HP 2130 and I had success installing it on FatDog64-720 after doing some conf editing. i installed hplip-3.16.7 puppy package and on top of that hplip-3.17.* from slackware alien!?
But no scanner. Until I edited /etc/sane.d/hp.conf and added details from lsusb. Also had to run scanimage -L on command line to find scanner (takes a few minutes).
Now it is all working.

When I tried to add a printer above setup-cups didn't work got a funny page with bookmarks that didn't work.
Turns out from the cups script it expects the default browser /html viewer to be set . As Xenialpup64 7.5 comes out of the box with the viewer set to "auto" it did not get there .
So change default html viewer to palemoon and the cups setup comes up normally
