Where can I download Wakepup2 iso for CD?

#1 Post by jeeves »

I'm trying to install Puppy Linux on an old (windows 98 era) Toshiba laptop that does not have an option for booting off USB in the bios. I already put Puppy Linux on a USB drive, but obviously can boot the laptop off it.

Does anyone know where I can download an iso of Wakepup2 that I can burn onto a CD?

Note: I found a page here ( http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=7979 ) that has wakepup2, but the download link is dead.

Also, I can't use the wakepup2 that comes on the regular install CD because it apparently will only write to floppy drives - which I have none of. Also the laptop I am trying to install to has only 32mb of RAM, so Puppy is crippled by low memory once it does. My plan is to basically run Puppy off a 1GB USB drive.

Thank you very much!

There must have been a browser issue preventing a download too. Firefox 2.0.0.1 showed the "save" button grayed out, while IE6 downloaded it correctly. Weird.
