This is one of the best pups around - the Debian packages often have far fewer deps than their Ubuntu equivalents..

Here, however, I must disagree
Palemoon may have temporary shortcomings from time to time, but Light is annoying, awful and in my case, useless. If anything, I'd prefer FF over Light (and I h4t3 FF).
By the way, I've found last version of Palemoon (27.9.2) surprisingly responsive (BUT I don't visit sites as those Sc0ttman pointed out).
