Wow man, that is awesome! I tried getting Compiz going just awhile back, but I think integrated Intel graphics doesn't cut it. Glad to see someone's got it going though Did you install it from the Puppy package manager?lowrider wrote:The new Puppy 5.28 with XFCE 4.6 and Compiz.

Yes, all is installed with ppm. My Siemens Amilo Notebook has integrated Intel graphics too. Here are the steps that i made to get it to work:battleshooter wrote:Wow man, that is awesome! 1. used quickpet to choose witch graphics driver i need.
2. installed the suggested driver (Xorg_High-1.1-Lucid)
3. installed Compiz (compiz_xfce4-6-2-Lucid)
4. installed XFCE (xfce-4.6.2-519-beta-Lucid)
Finally i switched via puppys wm-switcher, did a clean reboot (just in case) and voilla. Setting a nice wallpaper, theme and so on is the fun part of it.
@stu90
nice shot. is that tiling terminal you use terminator? i tried to install it once from the ubuntu repos but failed.
