Sorry dude. I didn't do that one.It depends on the comp module and that one causes problems. I usually skip those anyway cause I want macpup to run and look great on boxes that don't have the graphics to do composting as well as the one that can.

there was some questions about Macpup http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 289#563289 you might want to tell him that its usually better asking questions in the Macpup thread so others can share in with the problems and answers.

Just give me a chance to get home from work and I will be glad to . But if I am not around( this forum is open 24/7) best place to get info about macpup is the e17 guide.

http://hardkap.net/forums/topic/e17-guide

I am going to start on another more general info guide for macpup this week.

Thanks TTuuxxx !!!!

Prit And I are proud to announce the release of Macpup 528,our newest
e17 Macpup.

Macpup is a small, light OS. The .Iso is only 164 MB.
It runs in ram and is very fast. It is not a striped down,
bare bones, basic core OS. Macpup is a full featured system
right out of the box with apps for office, graphics, multimedia, internet
and much more. And it looks really cool.

MP528 is based on Puppy Linux 5.2.8 ,"Lucid Puppy", An official woof
build of puppy Linux that is binary-compatible with Ubuntu Lucid Lynx
packages.MP528 contains all the apps from Lucid puppy with the addition of
Firefox 7.01 beta. Extra apps like Opera or Gimp are available for easy
download from the Quickpet App on the ibar or the Puppy Package Manager.
MP525 also includes the Enlightenment E17 window manager. The EFL libraries
version 1.0.999 and E17 version 62861 where compiled and installed
from source.

All included E17 themes are By Verdegal37 and where customized for
Macpup by CatDude and Runtt21.

Thank's to everyone that has help or supported the Macpup project:
Ttuuxxx, CatDude, Puppyluvr, Mu, Sneekylinux, Rasterman and all Of the
E17 crew, ZaZoOo, WhoDo, Omskates, Cgt_1991. Joel, Russoodle,
GrumpyWolfe,Maxpro4u, Rokytnji & 01miko.

Extra Thanks to Agust(Verdegal37), The best E17 Themer on the planet.
And Sakasa for the Default theme backgrounds .

Special Thanks to BarryK the creator of puppylinux. And PlayDaze the
developer of Lucid puppy, And everyone who help out with Lucid puppy!! :D

To keep your CPU cool and your fan quiet use the CPU Frequency Scaling
Tool . Menu-applications-system-CPU frequency Scaling Tool

The first time you run Macpup, The system will be running totally in RAM!
Click on Htop on the ibar to check working space left in RAM*. If less than 30MB,
do not run big apps like Firefox -- instead, shutdown Macpup and you will be
asked to create a save file, that will give you more space. You can put the
save file almost anywhere,Hard drive,USB Flash drive,Sd card.Etc...
I recommend 256 MB total system ram for Macpup. You can also check ram by adding
the systray module to the Ibar. Click on the Top Hat on the Ibar to adjust most
system settings. Access the settings panel to make adjustments to e17.
Menu-settings-settings panel or the settings icon on the right end of the Ibar.

Updates for Macpup 528 can be found at http://macpup.org/runtt21/ in the macpup 528 folder,
as well as extra modules and more themes. Please note that macpup is for PC's and
not intended for use on a real "Mac"

the extra theme:

Important note about themes, All of the mp525 themes should work in
mp528.

This version of Macpup will boot to desktop in almost all cases and
from that screen you can make adjustments if they are needed or
wanted. The desktop and clock should be correct. If it does not boot to
a graphical screen, it might boot to a “prompt.

Everyone needs to hold off on that audacity 1.3.12 lucid 525 pet. I have heard several complaints about it . Let me look into it.

Ragman places compiled from me But it didn't do anything. I have seen post in other distro's forums about it not working anymore.

backi, Try the audacity.pet in the macpup528 folder on my macpup page.
