Here I am with a report, late but maybe it is usefull for someone.foxpup wrote:I tried LibreOffice 5.1.2. It asks for a newer version of libstdc++.so.6.
I took it from squeeze - a suggestion from watchdog in the thread in the quote just below - but that breaks my locales.
I am still puzzling.
I find it strange that the pet for LO 5.0.0 in the first post of this thread works and it has not a newer libstdc++ in it. Or am I wrong? Or did this requirement change from version 5.0 to 5.1?
This could be what I need to get newer glibc (and newer libstdc++) without breaking anything. I will try it and report.Robert123 wrote:Also you can try this update which I have tried and works with wary.

Huh. I might have known summat like that would happen. I used my own registration 'key' in the /root/.softmaker directory, which saves you having to re-register for every Pup.greengeek wrote:Hi Mike - just tried installing your freeoffice pet and came up with this:Mike Walsh wrote:Additionally, I've recently put together .pet & SFS packages for SoftMaker's FreeOffice 2016. :
